Over the last 14 years, I’ve shared my real-world experiences of Music Education with many people – PGCE, GTP and School Direct students, fellow heads of music, parents, exam boards and school leaders from around the world. Originally this was on a case-by-case basis to offer support or to share understanding. However, during the Covid pandemic, I moved my teaching online and supported many thousands of students and their teachers through live lessons on YouTube.

I continue to work in the classroom with students aged 11-16, and online, as well as working to develop the quality of the experience of young people everywhere as they pursue qualifications in Music.
